“The purpose of tragedy is to arouse “terror and pity” and thereby effect the catharsis of these (audience’s) emotions.”
Aristotle

Κάθαρσις (καθαίρω):  Catharsis, is the purification or purgation of the emotions primarily through art.

Το ἀκροατήριον – Akroatērion (ἀκροάομαι – hear/see): The Audience

Δημιουργός < δῆμος + ἔργον (public + act) < δημιουργέω, δημιουργῶ The Creator Producer

Through art, audience feels the catharsis of negative emotions, after watching a Greek drama play.
Audience feels satisfaction as the creator / producer drives his existence in a parallel time and space of the play action, while he controls audience emotions as he deploy the history of characters and events in the acts. The creator / producer of a play turns it to a psycho-therapeutic process that can educate / heal / entertain / create memories and many more, as the connection between him and the audience is very intense. All these would never happen without the Sponsor contribution in creating culture.
In simple words: Another example of human civilization.
