Synopsis: The film follows two young lesbians from Syria who, after leaving behind their homes and families behind amidst the ongoing conflict, arrive in Greece, where they start a new life of freedom, in harmony with both the external world and their inner self and nature: a new spring.
Nikos Ziogas
Working as a cinematographer in documentaries, TV series and corporate productions since 2008, he took part in several projects about people living on the fringes of society: homeless, refugees, immigrants. The last few years he has been mostly filming the still-ongoing refugee crisis during the Syrian war, following people who try to find a new life. Based in Athens, he travels around the world filming human stories that need to be said and trying to make Earth a better place through images. He is currently directing two feature-length US-produced documentaries, and recently completed a follow-up work with Walk With Me filmed in Peru and Chile.
